We’ve answered the questions parents ask most often to help you feel confident about choosing Petal & Pebble for your child’s early learning journey.
What ages do you accept?
We welcome children 6 weeks–5 years (infants through preschool with age-appropriate activities and care designed to support every stage of development).
What are your operating hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Extended hours:
8:00am – 6:00pm
How do you ensure my child's safety?
Your child’s safety is our highest priority. We maintain a clean, secure, and child-friendly environment, follow all state licensing regulations, conduct regular safety checks, practice emergency preparedness, and supervise children at all times. Staff are trained in CPR and First Aid.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes! We provide nutritious meals and healthy snacks that meet children’s dietary needs. We can also accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions with advance notice.
How do parents stay informed about their child's day?
We use Procare, a secure parent communication app that keeps you connected throughout the day. Through the app, you’ll receive updates on your child’s meals (including what and how much they ate), diaper changes or bathroom visits, rest and nap times, photos of activities, and any important notes from their day. If an incident occurs, an incident report will also be shared through the app so you are informed promptly.
Do you offer part-time and full-time enrollment?
No we only offer full time with option for aftercare / extended hours
What should my child bring on their first day?
Please bring:
A change of clothes
Diapers and wipes (if needed)
A labeled water bottle
Any required medications with authorization forms
A blanket or comfort item for rest time (if applicable)
Any additional items requested during enrollment
How do you support each child's individual development?
Every child learns at their own pace. We create a nurturing environment that encourages learning through play, hands-on activities, and positive interactions. We observe each child’s interests and developmental milestones to provide individualized support while fostering confidence, creativity, social skills, and independence.
